Trade Underwriters Agency ("TUA") was formed in
1992. TUA trade credit insurance policies provide coverage of short-term trade credit transactions,
both domestic and international. It is available on a comprehensive, commercial only or
political only basis.
TUA is a managing general agency for two quality insurance groups:
Kemper Insurance Companies and Sorema/Groupama [Fulcrum Insurance Co.
(U.S.) guaranteed by Caisse Centrale des Assurances Mutuelles Agricoles
(France)].
Until June 9 and September 8, 2000, for Kemper and Sorema,
respectively, TUA was managing general agency for the U.S. Reliance
Insurance Group that is currently undergoing a major corporate
restructuring.
Kemper is rated "A" (excellent) by A.M. Best Class
"XV". Kemper policies are available for issuance in the U.S. and
in Europe. Sorema/Groupama, through Fulcrum Insurance Co., rated
"A" (excellent) by A.M. Best and "A+" by Standard
& Poors and Caisse Centrale, etal., rated "A+" (superior)
Class "XV" by A.M. Best issues polices both in the U.S. and
throughout Europe. The new transition of TUA restores its high credit
ratings and offers new opportunities for insureds to purchase both high
quality multi-buyer and single-buyer policies.
Two Basic Policy Formats
Multi Debtor Policy - covers all insured's
trade including Private and government
debtors. Maximum coverage is 95%.
Minimum Premium - $10,000
5% no claims bonus, renewal not required
Single Debtor Policy - covers a specific
debtor up to 90% of invoice value
Minimum Premium is $2,500 payable at inception
