Exporters Insurance Company LTD. is an association of
manufacturers, trading companies and financial institutions that have
joined together to manage more effectively the credit and political risks
they face in their global operations.
Exporters and its parent company, EIC Corporation LTD.,
are domiciled in Bermuda and commenced operations in January 1990 with
five members and $6,500,000 in capital. Today, after ten years of
solid underwriting experience, there are eighty-two members and
$45,100,000 in capital.
It is the mission of Exporters to provide responsive and
flexible credit and investment insurance programs and policies to its
members , and to do so on a prudent and financially sound basis. As
a group captive insurance company, Exporters is a unique institution with
the resources and spirit of innovation to serve its members well in the
years ahead.
